Give spare food to someone nearby.
When you can't eat something in time, list it on Stoviro and someone close by can claim it and pick it up, for free. If you need food, you can see what's available near you.

How it works
Listed in about a minute.
01
Take a photo and describe it
Say what it is, how much there is and when it was made. Record it out loud or type it.
02
Set the pickup point
Your phone's location sets the pin, so stand where you'll hand it over. Add how long it's available and every allergen it contains.
03
Someone nearby claims it
They see the exact pin and your pickup note once they've claimed it. Mark it picked up when it's collected, or take it down at any time.
Why use it
Made for sharing with care.
The exact spot stays private
Browsing shows how far away food is. Only the person who claims a listing sees its exact pickup pin and note.
Allergens up front
Listings show the allergens they contain, and you're warned if one matches the allergies in your account.
Choose how far to look
Allow your location and search up to 6 miles away. Each listing shows its distance and how long it's available.
Check the food yourself
Givers confirm their food is safe to eat, but Stoviro doesn't prepare, inspect or test anything shared. Look it over and decide for yourself before you eat it.
Questions
Share food nearby FAQ
- Does it cost anything to give or get food?
- No. Stoviro is free while it's in early access, and the food is given away, not sold.
- Who can see my location?
- Your pickup pin is only shown to the person who claims your listing, along with your pickup note. Stand where you'd like to hand the food over when you set it.
- How do I find food near me?
- Create an account, join the food list, then allow your location and choose how far to search. What you'll see depends on what people close to you have listed.
- Is shared food safe?
- Givers have to confirm their food is safe to eat, but Stoviro can't check it for you. Collecting and eating shared food is at your own risk, so inspect it first and skip anything you're unsure about.
