Fridge scanner
Scan your fridge instead of typing it all out.
Take one photo of your open fridge. Stoviro's AI lists the food it can see, you check the list, and your kitchen is ready for recipe ideas.

How it works
From photo to food list in three steps.
01
Take or upload a photo
Open the door, step back and get the shelves in. Good light helps it read labels. On a computer you can drop an image onto the page.
02
Check what it found
Fix any name, set amounts and untick mistakes. Anything it isn't sure of starts unticked, and you can type in whatever it missed.
03
Add it to your kitchen
Nothing is saved until you tap Add to my kitchen. Then it's all there for the AI recipe generator and the meal planner.
Why use it
Quick, and you stay in charge.
Much quicker than typing
One photo covers a whole shelf of food. Saving your kitchen stops being a chore you put off.
You approve every item
AI can misread a label, so the list is only a suggestion until you confirm it. Unsure items wait for your tick.
No double entries
Food you've already saved is marked Will update rather than added a second time, so your kitchen list stays tidy.
It leads straight to dinner
Scanned food feeds your recipes and your meal plan, and anything close to its date gets used first.
Questions
Fridge scanner FAQ
- Is the fridge scanner free?
- Yes. Stoviro is free while it's in early access.
- How accurate is it?
- It depends on the photo. Good light and visible labels help, and it can still miss or misread things. That's why you check the list, and why unsure items start unticked.
- Does it work on a computer?
- Yes. On a phone you can take a photo, and on a computer you can drop an image onto the page.
- What if it misses something?
- Type it in at the bottom of the list before you add everything to your kitchen.
