Stoviro lets people who have spare food connect with people nearby who would like it. Stoviro is only a way for people to find each other. We do not own, grow, prepare, cook, package, store, inspect, test, handle, transport or deliver any food shared through the Service, and we are not a party to any exchange between users.
If you share food, you agree that:
- You will only list food that you honestly believe is safe and fit to eat — not expired, spoiled, contaminated, recalled, mouldy, or stored at an unsafe temperature.
- You will describe it truthfully, including what it is, when it was made or bought, its use-by or best-before date, how it has been stored, whether it has been opened, and any allergens you know of (for example nuts, milk, eggs, gluten, soy, fish or shellfish).
- You will not list alcohol, medicines, supplements, raw milk, home-canned goods, or anything else that is illegal or restricted where you live.
- You are solely responsible for the food you share and for following any food-safety laws that apply to you.
If you collect or eat shared food, you agree that:
- You do so entirely at your own risk. You are responsible for inspecting the food yourself and deciding whether it is safe for you and anyone you give it to.
- You will not eat, or give to others, anything that looks, smells or tastes wrong, is past its date, or whose packaging is damaged.
- Allergen and ingredient information comes from the person sharing it and may be incomplete or wrong. If you or someone in your care has an allergy or medical condition, take extra care or do not eat the food.
Stoviro is not responsible for shared food. We make no promise about the quality, safety, freshness, expiry date, ingredients, allergens, labelling or legality of any food listed or exchanged through the Service. We are not liable for any illness, allergic reaction, food poisoning, injury, loss or death that results from food that is expired, spoiled, contaminated, mislabelled, or otherwise unsafe, or from any exchange between users.
Meeting other people. We do not run background checks on users. When you hand over or collect food, meet in a public place where possible, tell someone where you are going, and use your own judgement. Stoviro is not responsible for the conduct of any user, online or offline.
